World Water Day

March 22nd last marked World Water Day. The objective was to draw attention to the problems related to water resources.

Water makes up more than 75% of the Earth’s surface. However only 2.5 or 3% of that is drinking water. Of that percentage three quarters is found in the glaciers and big mountain ranges. The rest is divided amoung lakes, rivers and underground waterways.  These waters are becoming more and more contaminated due to human activity caused by certain companies and organisations.

So we at Chatarras Hernández do our very best to carry out our work in a responsible and ecological way. Water is an essential resource for us all and for our future.
