8 out of 10 Spaniards Recycle

A survey carried out by IPSOS for Ecoembes revealed that 83.5% of Spaniards claim to separate all or almost all packaging they dispose of in the yellow, green and blue bins.

Spaniards recycle mostly because of  environmental factors, followed by social and educational reasons. However this survey also highlighted why the rest of spanish people do not recycle. The most common reasons for not recycling are lack of space in their kitchens and absence in bins nearby.
