79.2% of Murcians separate almost all packaging for recycling

In Chatarras Hernández we would like to acknowledge that Murcians recycle.

In a survey ” Habits and Attitudes of the Spanish public towards separating waste and selective collection” it claims that 79.2% of Murcians separate almost all packaging that they dispose of in the green, yellow and blue bins.

Its worth mentioning that 65% of those interviewed stated that it is primarily women who take charge of recycling in the home.

The main reason given for recycling was the environment followed by social and educational motives.

In Chatarras Hernández we want to motivate the Murcian public to continue recycling.  We should all do our bit to contribute to a cleaner, healthier and stronger environment.
